I try and promise myself not to type up new features, but I can’t help myself! Consider all of these to be future feature / backlog, not currently prioritized
Looking at a profile page (this is my personal, logged in one, but I run several “organization” accounts), I realize that I want a bunch of things here.
Profile
- Smoke Signal has “default timezone” as the one profile field → should this be displayed?
- default location and/or locations I care about (where the prompt would probably to list cities or city neighbourhoods?)
- Do we also want name, description, avatar image, header image, maybe “synced from Bluesky” to start / on first login if filled out, but editable? (yes, this is opening the question of SS profiles separate from bsky ones)
- Personally, I’d like one or more “website” fields → one to start would be fine (for an organization: our home page)
Events Feed / Calendar on Profile
- when I send out Smoke Signal it shows my activities. For an organization, I want it to show “my calendar” (specifically, upcoming events I am organizing) by default, and make activities be accessible with
