RSVPing to events on Smoke Signal is quick and easy. Follow these simple steps to let organizers know if you’re planning to attend their event.
How to RSVP to an Event
Step 1: Log In
Log in to Smoke Signal using your AT-Handle (such as “@ngerakines.me” or “@alice.bsky.social”).
Step 2: Find an Event
Browse to an event you would like to RSVP to on the Smoke Signal website.
Step 3: Select Your RSVP Status
Choose your attendance status from the dropdown menu. You have three options:
- Going - You are indicating your interest in going to the event
- Interested - You are indicating that you are interested in going to the event
- Not Going - You are indicating that you are not going to the event
Step 4: Email Sharing (Optional)
If you’d like the event organizer to be able to contact you directly, check the box next to “Share my email address with the event organizer.” This step is completely optional.
Step 5: Submit Your RSVP
Click the green “RSVP” button to submit your response.
After You RSVP
Once you’ve successfully RSVP’d to an event, your handle will appear in the RSVPs list below the event details. This lets other attendees see who’s planning to go.
Changing Your RSVP
Changed your mind? No problem! You can update your RSVP at any time by returning to the event page and selecting a different status from the dropdown menu, then clicking “RSVP” again.
The system will remember your previous choice and update your status accordingly.
