Smoke Signal just got a major update featuring redesigned event pages, ATProtocol facets support, cryptographically verified RSVPs with attestations, private content controls, email notifications, rich profiles, and experimental AI agent integration through the Model Context Protocol.
First up, we’ve completely redesigned event pages to put the important stuff front and center. No more hunting for event details, everything you need is right there when you land on the page. We’ve moved the attendees section while maintaining a clean summary showing who’s attending, so you can quickly see participant status without scrolling through extensive lists.
Events now support facets for links, tags, and mentions that get indexed into search. Plus we’ve implemented cryptographic attestations for RSVPs. Event organizers can verify attendance and attach metadata like ticket tiers.
The new private content feature lets you share different info with “interested” vs “going” vs “confirmed” attendees. Perfect for venue codes or afterparty details. We’ve also added email notifications that respect your preferences.
Also, it supports Model Context Protocol! Your AI agent can search events, manage RSVPs, and interact entirely through XRPC.
