OK, I was just entering an event for Ink & Switch that I wanted to keep track of for the team and share with others.
And, right at the top of the page it says “Organized by” … which it is not!
Something like “Are you the official organizer for this event?” or something like that, and it can be checked by default (nor not? depends on context here!)
Public RSVP signaling and event aggregation and curation are obviously different than organizing. I think the signaling and aggregation can be a real strength but also nudges up against the Lanyrd style use case (which was cool, and I loved).
For this use case, I think “Organized by Ink & Switch” gives the very wrong impression and I need it to not say that.
