Kicking off this thread from discussions about Smoke Signal Design

The existing single install of Smoke Signal (we’ve roughly been callling this something like Smoke Signal Core) could be improved design wise, no blockers to suggestions and PRs in the codebase.
Other suggestions, ideas on funding or not, all welcome.
Rather than clutter the main post above I also wanted to cover why I said “a small honorarium for designers”
Boris A got grumpy over that because I guess he thought I was throwing peanuts to a designer vs devs.
Not the case! I was saying it in that way because I care enough about this that I’d love to prioritize raising money but wanted to make it clear that it wasn’t going to be a lot of money. A lot of people can’t afford to work for free and so at the very least I wanted to see what an honorarium might be like.
Happy to have designers as well as devs donate their time if they are able!
